Nvidia leaked game list: The unannounced games likely coming to PC | PC Gamer - torresimpt1995
Ogre's Souls PC, Kingdom Hearts 4, and many more games from the Nvidia leak are looking increasingly rattling
In early September, a network developer tinkering around with Nvidia's GeForce Now client discovered a way to access a list of all the games in GFN's database—approximately 18,000. Among the database entries he found games that hadn't been announced for GeForce Now streaming support and what seemed to be a gold mine of games that hadn't been announced period. After the list began to bedcover, Nvidia told WCCFTech that it contained "some released and/or speculative titles, victimized only for internal tracking and testing," and that "inclusion body on the list is neither verification nor an announcement of any game."
But since September, it has started to look more and more like those "theoretic titles" are real games.
Information technology started with Actraiser Renaissance, a surprise remake proclaimed and released connected September 23. The GeForce Now list included an entry called "ActRaiser Remake." It's a echt stretch to think that someone at Nvidia decided to speculate that Square Enix would be releasing a new edition of a 1990 Super Nintendo game connected PC. Windows Central also wrote that multiple codenames on the list from Xbox Game Studios matched games they knew about: Fancy Holland is Fable, for deterrent example.
More confirmations followed. Destruct Totally Humans 2's remake was announced at a THQ Geographical area result just years after the leak—and so was Outcast 2. Randy Pitchford publicly expressed that Gearbox was employed connected a new Brothers in Coat of arms. Squarish Enix announced Dungeon Encounters, which was listed American Samoa an "Unheralded Dungeon Tactic unfit." Rockstar proclaimed the Grand Theft Machine remastered trilogy. Sony announced that Divinity of War is coming to PC.
All were connected Nvidia's lean.
With then more examples, there's no path the unannounced games on the list were all speculative. And it's looking corresponding more games will continue to be confirmed: The Helldivers Twitter account is vexatious some sort of announcement, and Helldivers 2, sure as shootin enough, is on the Nvidia number.
This doesn't mean that every unreleased game connected the list is currently in development, OR is guaranteed to come out on PC. Bayonetta 3 and New Super Mario Bros are both connected there, for model, and both are published by Nintendo. Nintendo might let Sega release Bayonetta 3 on PC contempt funding its development, but Mario? Unlikely. There's an easy answer in this case, though: Nvidia had a partnership with Nintendo to put Wii games like New Big Mario Bros on the Shield in China.
There are as wel games on the list that have likely or definitely been canceled. Scalebound, for instance, is on there, and that's been dead for years. Titanfall 3 became Apex of the sun's way Legends, every bit hinted at by its "shortName" in the database: "apex_legends_-_titanfall." But there are still dozens of games here that are quite possibly in the works. We may be looking at a value map for the succeeding a couple of years of PC gaming.
Here are the game names that jump out to Pine Tree State. The biggest I've re-formed by publisher, patc others I've lumped together into a list at the close.
Valve
- Half-Life 2 Remastered
This seems entirely glib—Valve actually released a important branch update for Half life 2 upright last calendar month, fixing bugs and adding Vulkan support. That makes sentience as Valve preps for the launch of the Steam clean Deck. Will they call that update Half life 2 Remastered when it's finished, or is this a sign of a individual, bigger project?
Sony
- Demon's Souls
- Ghosts of Tsushima
- God of War
- Grandma Turismo 7
- Helldivers 2
- Purview Forbidden West
- Ratchet & Clank
- Returnal
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Unmapped: Legacy of Thieves Collection
Then many ample games from Sony here. I can see Demon's Souls, Gran Turismo 7 and Ghosts of Tsushima in particular absolutely crushing it on PC.
Notably, Bloodborne is not on the list. It hurts.
Angular Enix
- Chrono Cross Remaster
- Final Fantasy 7 Remake
- Final Phantasy 9 Remake
- Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster
- Kingdom Black Maria 4
- New strategy game
- Tactic Ogre Remaster
- Grave Raider 25th Day of remembrance (2021)
- Unpredicted Card Gimpy 2
There's enthusiastic stuff in here. Square Enix has been hyping up Tomb Pillager's 25th this year, so a new remake OR HD port of Tomb Raider Anniversary seems plausible. But Chrono Cross Remaster, Tactics Ogre Remaster and Final Fantasy 9 Remake are all unbelievably tantalizing. IT's ludicrous FFT wasn't on PC years agone, and Tactics Ogre would cost the cherry on top. The fantastic 2010 make over ne'er even got a mobile port the way FFT did, which substance it's been marooned on the PlayStation Portable for a decade.
Chrono Cross absolutely deserves the same treatment every bit Square Enix's other "HD" ports of its PlayStation games—considerably, better handling, truly, because as we've seen with AI upscaling, Foursquare's official releases can really be improved on. Final Fantasy 9 is the uncomparable closest to my heart and the one I would've sham had nary chance in hell of happening, exclude that Honest Enix is also, extremely randomly, developing a FF9 animated series. Mayhap the best Final Phantasy actually is acquiring a ground-up remake.
Oh, and Realm Black Maria 4? Sure, we'll see that in a decade or two.
Take Two
- Bioshock 2022
- BioShock RTX Remaster
- XCOM 3
There's no GTA 6 on the list, but the BioShocks are interesting. We've known about an upcoming BioShock for quite some time, but the RTX remaster is new. Take Two announced the studio working on the close BioShock in late 2019, which does make 2022 sound off like an optimistic target. My guess is it doesn't arrive until at least 2023.
As for XCOM 3, is that in reality Midnight Suns, Beaver State is it a strait-laced sequel? If the latter, hopefully IT wasn't canceled to make room for Midnight Suns instead.
Sega
- Incessant Legend 2
- Perspicacity
- Skin Megami Tensei 5
- Total War 9
No surprise that another mainline Total State of war is coming, and Interminable Legend 2 seems possible, though it English hawthorn take in been scrapped in favor Amplitude's Humankind. The very items of interest here are Judgment, the Yakuza spin-off, and Shin Megami Tensei 5. With Persona 4 on PC, it feels care a matter of when, not if, the rest of Atlus's RPGs create IT over. It's a bit disappointing not to see Persona 5 Oregon any other Atlus games on Here, though.
Ea
- Mirror's Edge RTX Remaster
- Untitled Respawn Game
We have a go at it Respawn is working on a sunrise game or two, and a ray traced adaptation of Mirror's Edge? Bound, why non.
Warner Bros
- Batman: Arkham Knight RTX Remaster
- Injustice 3: Gods Will Gloam
- Mortal Kombat XII
Arkham Knight had an infamously broken launch on PC, but IT was a peach when IT worked. Good electron beam tracing candidate. And both of these fight games from Nether Realm appear in all likelihood—the question is more which one is in development right now.
Capcom
- Dragon's Dogma 2
- Devil Hunter 6
- Resident physician Heinous 4 Remake
- Street Fighter 6
These were already named in Capcom's massive information breach last year, but I just treasured an excuse to write Tartar'S DOGMA 2 in entirely-caps.
Microsoft
- Gears 6
- Halo 5: Guardians
There are also a slew of game codenames, merely Gears 6 feels equivalent close to outright confirmation that the next Gears game is on the way. Not just a shocker. Meanwhile, 343 Industries has expressed once again that nix's occurrent with Halo 5 on PC right now.
Bandai Namco
- Tekken 8
Tekken 7 has been around since 2015 and is still really popular, so it seems equivalent it's about time for a sequel.
Konami
- Metal Gear Solid 2 HD
- Metal Gear Solid 3 HD
VGC reported in October that Konami's planning big comebacks for Gilded Gear and Castlevania, and remasters of MGS2/3 are part of that contrive. This seems likely and information technology'd be great to finally have MGS3 on PC.
The repose
- Cities Skylines 2
- Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
- Crysis 4
- Earth Defense Force 6
- Metro "Adjacent"
- The Talos Principle 2
- Timesplitters 2 (Remastered)
- Titan Pursuit 2 (working title)
- Wreckfest sequel
